This notice explains how the Study in Armenia website handles information submitted through its enquiry and application services.

Information we collect

When you submit a form, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, nationality, education background, program interest, preferred intake, and message.

• Application forms may include optional passport, certificate, and English-language evidence files.
• Basic request information may be processed to operate the service, prevent spam, rate-limit abuse, and diagnose errors.
• If analytics is enabled, the analytics provider may process page, device, browser, and interaction data according to the consent settings presented by that service.

Analytics and cookies

The website can use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager only after the site owner configures the approved Google tracking ID. When analytics is enabled, visitors are shown an analytics consent choice. Analytics consent is stored in the visitor's browser so the website can remember whether analytics was accepted or rejected.

• Analytics is used to understand page visits, application-form usage, contact-form usage, and major website actions.
• Visitors can reject analytics and continue using the website.
• Marketing pixels or heatmap tools should not be added until the owner approves the tool and cookie notice.

How we use your information

When you submit an application or inquiry through StudyInArmenia.com, your information is securely recorded by the platform and made available to the institution you selected through its institutional portal. StudyInArmenia provides the technology connecting students and institutions but does not act as the institution's admissions department.

Service providers and sharing

When you submit an application or inquiry for a particular university or educational institution through StudyInArmenia.com, we share the information and documents you provide with that selected institution so that it can review and process your inquiry or application.

Information shared may include your contact details, personal information, educational history, uploaded documents, and other information you provide as part of your application.

The information is shared when you submit the application or otherwise request that StudyInArmenia.com forward your information to the institution.

The selected educational institution operates independently from StudyInArmenia.com and may act as an independent data controller for the information it receives. Its processing of your information is governed by its own privacy practices and policies.

Uploads and sensitive information

Only upload a document when it is relevant to your request. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, or unrelated sensitive information. The form accepts PDF, JPEG, and PNG files subject to the limits displayed beside the upload controls.

Retention and security

We apply the following retention schedule unless a longer period is required by law, needed to resolve a dispute, or requested by the selected institution under its own documented obligations:

• Application progress saved in the browser is not sent to StudyInArmenia and remains on that device until the student clears it or submits the application.
• Unresponsive enquiries are retained for 12 months after the last activity.
• Active applications are retained while the institution is reviewing them and for up to 24 months after the last activity.
• Rejected or withdrawn applications and their uploaded documents are retained for up to 12 months after closure.
• Applications recorded as enrolled are retained for up to 24 months after closure for referral and reporting records.
• Security and routing audit logs are retained for up to 24 months. Backup copies are removed through the normal backup cycle within 90 days after deletion from the active system.

We use access controls, request validation, rate limits, encrypted transport, and restricted upload types to reduce risk, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

• You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted.
• You may choose not to attach optional documents and can contact the team before sharing sensitive records.
• Your available privacy rights may vary by location.
